BODIES OF WATER

A crew of opalescent beings arrive from the Hydrosphere of the future and land at the landwehrkanal of Berlin.
In their quest to establish raindrop nurseries along the galaxy they perform sonic rituals. They speak, embody and sonify water at its purest state called Triple Point. In this triple point all three qualities, liquid, solid and vapour are present at the same time, manifesting a state that transcends binaries and categories of all identities.

​Bodies of Water is a hybrid piece that finds its expressions through music, dance, poetry and a meditation, birthed to life by AVA, Marseille based sound artist, the Blue Blood contemporary dance group with Beverly Destiny Renekouzou and Suzette Sagisi, and the artist collective KNVNT with Lora Mateeva and ORSHI writer & director.
