Abyssea-thru: ALIEN and ALIVE

This piece is part of a multidisciplinary performance created by queer dancer and choreographer Gizem Aksu, featuring three dancers whose transnational bodies explore and confront posthuman issues. Projected during a live stage performance, the video becomes an immersive installation that merges digital and physical realms. The fluidity of movement in the water reflects the dancers' investigation into identity, transformation, and the boundaries of human and non-human experience. This projection bridges the gap between the live and the virtual, offering a poignant reflection on the interconnectedness of bodies
